Hello!
So I realized the latest downloads I offered were terribly flawed. Since then I went back to the drawing board (PSD) and got them fixed up. Wallpapers No's. 1, 2, 3, & 4.
I also buffed up and made proper 1080HD versions for the rest of us mortals who don't have a 4K screen (yes that includes me).

You can grab your desired, fixed version(s) here on DeviantART.
Here's what the new one looks like. Updated the buttons. I had to reverse engineer the buttons from an official PlayStation graphic and sew them together manually in the pattern visible. Even this might see an update in the future.

Horizon Zero Dawn
So Guerilla showed us new previews of Horizon Zero Dawn on Thursday (Wednesday in America) and it looks amazing. Francis (the guy playing) presented us with some deep gameplay showing us the weapon wheel and the game's RPG elements.

Guerrilla gave us a look at some damage resistant gear and confirmed modification slots on them, both weapons and clothes (so RPG).

Crafting Explosive Traps |
We saw Francis do some on the field alchemy to make exploding traps and rope bombs (rope bombs? lol). This is a standard feature in the game as you constantly need to adapt to your current situation, including the ever real ammo consumption.
Miscellaneous
Override is a nice technique Aloy can use to reprogram mechas. We saw a bit of it at PlayStation Meeting. This time, she uses it to subdue a violent mecha into a mount. It's technically hacking really.

Francis Using the Weapon Wheel |
While in combat, Aloy can change weapons at will and use them (providing they have ammunition). The Shadow Sling was a weapon they sounded really excited about. She can use weapons other than her bow and what we've seen so far, including melee weapons.
Aloy Scanning Her Target |
Apparently, there's an element system to the game too. Here, after scanning the mecha, Aloy realizes that it's weak to fire. Out come the exploding arrows dealing maximum damage to the mecha. Guerilla also revealed that the environment is destructible.

Aloy Trapping the Mecha |
There was a funny bit where Aloy called her new mount (yes you can summon it like Epona) and struggled to get on the thing. The poor mount got killed... Off to brighter things!
Story
Aloy Offering Answers |
There is a prominent story in Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy is clearly a very smart, level headed girl. She really wants to know what happened before their time (like rest of us!) Aloy is curious to why some mechas are going crazy. It looks like players are in for an adventure together with Aloy as they try to solve these mysteries. However, there is still freedom in this game. You can do quests in any order it's said, so I take it people won't be crying about the game being "too linear."
Aloy Administering a Final Blow |
Overall, Horizon Zero Dawn looks even more amazing than its initial reveal. Aloy's story looks intriguing and exciting. What happened to her family? What happened to humanity before this? Why are the mechas becoming violent?
Well have to join name on her journey in 2017 when Horizon Zero Dawn launches on the PlayStation 4, March 2nd, 2017!

I also caught tonight's Biohazard event. Maybe I can talk about it (Biohazard still freaks me out, especially the new one). Also I tinkered and put together some new PlayStation wallpaper. Look out for it very soon! Feel free to shout out on Twitter @beaniedude114
Peace!

Patch Notes
If you came this far then thanks! I made a few changes to the wallpapers in the updates.
General update: The PlayStation button pattern was updated. I created a new pattern from 'scratch" using a PlayStation button PNG I found on the internet (thank you Google images). I then, as I stated above, stitched it together in what became an imperfect pattern (sorry orz). It's not very apparent so maybe I can escape for now. That's why said it may be updated later.
The HD versions of 1, 2, & 4 received revised textures and 3, along with the others received text updates (straight from the 4K versions).

#1&2. Wallpaper #1 & #2 received a pattern upgrade. I replaced the old one (which is actually a 20th anniversary pattern I got from a generous soul who shared his stuff) with the updated button pattern (no 2 in there).
#3. Updated the color of the PlayStation buttons closer to the actual colors on the controllers. The pink Square however was edited to actually show properly on the fading white background.
#4. This one had to be reengineered. Button colors addressed like in number 3, but all proper colors. The text was also realigned under it to be more center rather than touching my boundaries in PS. The crazy part was the white "hardware" style area. It's made to look like actual PlayStation hardware. The button engravings are removed on the edge so it looks more realistic, like actual plastic (like how it looks on the Dualshock 4's touchpad). The overall button pattern was very heavy and hard. I watched them, compared them to the official wallpaper PlayStation released last year, and decided to make it "more shallow." I had to mix a few things and colors. The new look is better I must say.
Number 4 had the biggest update it seems!

Well that's about it. Check back soon for a new wallpaper I got excited for!
