PlayStation Press Conference + Free PlayStation Themed 4K Wallpaper

I Caught the 4K Bug; PlayStation Baby

PS4 CM 「山田の絶叫、太賀の昇天”PS4®に全部来る”」

If you're reading this then kudos to you! (blessings really)
So I caught the PlayStation press conference the other night, but wasn't going to do anything about it. Then I watched a YouTube video and couldn't sit still.

You can catch that conference here (Japanese) or the English.
It was interesting. Mr Kojima showed up to talk about his newest project "Death Stranding." It will be open world and will have "online elements." Confirmed.

Also PlayStation's friendly reminder of the HDR update for ALL versions of the console.

The New PS4 is set to launch Sept. 15th (Thur). 500GB model circa $300 USD and the 1TB model circa $350 USD.

PS4 Pro is set to launch Nov. 10th (Thur). 1TB model for circa $450 USD.

We got previews on more projects, including the Tekken team's Summer Lesson, new look at Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Horizon Zero Dawn, Minna no Golf, Nioh, and some more games.
One of my favorite reveals was actually... This!

New PlayStation Vita colors, Silver and Metalic Red are coming December 1st (Japan only). The trailer is pretty nice too. Have a look!

PlayStation's campaign has been so vivid and real. Their slogan "できないことができるって、最高だ。(To be able to do the things you can't do are the best.)" is, dare I say, honest. We live in the real world where we can't do these amazing things. "I can't do this. I can't do that. But we can do this" (reference to PS CM) with PlayStation. It's a nice thing they have going on.
As per usual, I've got some freebies. I literally made these last night after deciding to write this since I realized I couldn't write it since I had no free things to give away. Made in about an hour and a half. I got really amped up to make these after the high I must have gotten from these recent PlayStation events.

PlayStation themed 4K Wallpaper.

Right click the images and open them in a new window to download.

I've also prepared lower res 1080 HD versions for smaller screens.

Next time I'll delve into today's Horizon Zero Dawn at TGS!

PlayStation 20th Anniversary Custom Wallpaper

Hello! It's a whole year but I still did one. Lool It's not too late to say Happy Anniversary once more, right? I just wanted to make something new so I put together two PlayStation 20th Anniversary wallpapers.

Spotlight: Character Design - Tetsuya Nomura

After going through the internet in recent weeks and getting stressed over some details of Final Fantasy XV and it's reception, I set out to write a Defense of Nomura post. TWICE. However, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to say that hasn't already been said by others, nor how to say it without being the ultimate fanboy. Furthermore, I started to question myself. As an aspiring character designer, why do I even like the art of Tetsuya Nomura? What about it makes it so, "interesting." In truth, I'm just going to wing it while listening to Jpop. Hello. If you've been to this blog before, I take it you've seen my last post was Christmas 2016. Truth is, my computer died and the replacement is also nonoperational until I get a replacement HDD. So, I've busted out my beloved HP Chromebook 14 and instead of watching anime or YouTube videos, I've decided to do something a bit more constructive. Tetsuya Nomura is well known as the creat...

The Edge

image from hongkiat Microsoft Edge is... not perfect. It's good, don't get me wrong. It's nowhere as bad as most people say or would think it is. But given its competition, and everyone's main rival, Chrome, Edge has had quite a battle to fight, even still with the upcoming switch to Chromium. Having debuted in 2015, Edge pretty much started with an uphill battle. It's predecessor, Internet Explorer left a bad taste in most techies' mouths over the years, becoming the butt of memes and jokes about being slow and having its sole purpose being to inevitably download Chrome.  But Edge is NOT IE. And, while I'm at it, I'll defend Internet Explorer just a bit. Let's be fair, a clean, not weighed down by a million toolbars IE actually works well enough to get some work done. Edge, is not an amplification of that sentiment, however. Edge is a new direction; the right direction, more or less. With its host of amazing features and tricks, Microsoft E...
